Taste of London is the biggest food festival in the city, bringing some of the city’s best restaurants together for four days of feasting in Regent’s Park. With this year’s festival a mere days away, I’m sharing some of my favourite shots from Taste of London 2022.
What is Taste of London?
If you’re a foodie living in London, chances are you’re already heard of the Taste of London. Taking place in Regent’s Park in June, Taste brings together the best restaurants and artisans. All you have to do is show up, eat and discover your new favourite spot.
Last year, I got the chance to attend and snap some photos of some of the best things on offer. From oysters at Burger and Lobster, to indulgent curries at Cinnamon Kitchen, Japanese rice bowls at Junsei and the award-winning croissant burger at Haché.
What is the festival like?
Taste of London is a dream for food lovers. Weather permitting, it’s four days in the sun, where you get to roam Regent’s Park trying different types of food. You’ll find most kinds of cuisine, a brilliant representation of London’s vibrant culinary scene.
Last year, my favourite dishes included:
- Chishuru‘s Ekuru: black bean & watermelon seed cake, pumpkin seed pesto, Scotch bonnet sauce
- Burger and Lobster’s Bloody Mary Oyster
- Junsei‘s Tuna Rice Bowl
Is this festival for you?
If you’re into food and are keen to try different dishes and cuisines in one place, then you should consider going. One thing to keep in mind is that you’ll end up spending a bit of money. But, overall, I love this festival every year!
